Strolling Down Chefchaouen Street

Ancient city of lore

I strolled down Chefchaouen street
Though only in my mind
Guided by beautiful images,
I felt all lost in time.

All different shade of blues
From deepest dark to lightest light
So caught up in the experience,
I might go back tonight.

It never ceases to amaze me,
The beauty of this place,
Those parts we came and met
And the parts we help create.

One more thing warming my heart,
This opportunity
To travel to far-flung places
Whenever the urge hits me.

My laptop as my flying carpet
I scroll or click my mouse,
Jet fuel, there is no need
Since I never leave the house.
