Excellent post. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Where I come from, there is a popular reggae tune that speaks about doing it for the love and not for the likes, same on medium, I agree with you; do it for the sheer enjoyment of tapping out your thoughts on a keyboard and seeing them morph into something that can be shared. I am encouraged by your post and what you said, write what you write and your work will find its audience.
